Voice and Telephone

Multicom has many choices of telephone and computer systems that can be connected to land from vessels. Systems options can be chosen by the needs of each vessel whether it be to transmit data or access email.
Cellular Mobile Connections are also available where calls are automatically connected through your telephone system to the local cellular service allowing for cell phone capabilities even when out to sea.

Mobile Connectivity

Multicom manufactures several shipboard telephones and systems ranging for the use in small vessels to more complex systems for larger vessels.
The Multicom PCX Telephone System fully integrates with all digital Multicom ICS systems to offer standard and emergency communications, fire alarm, general alarm, telephone, sound powered telephone, and entertainment into one easy-to-control package.

Multicom’s VCX telephone provides multiple connections through VOIP over one satellite connection for greater efficiency. For more basic and one line systems Multicom offers a Satellite Telephone for ease of making calls, sending faxes, and checking e-mail anywhere in the world.

Multicom’s Emergency Shipboard Telephone Systems, including the METS 1 and METS 2, is US Coast Guard Approved and meets all sound powered telephone requirements in the event of an emergency.
